PASTOR VANESSA A. BLACK Pastor Vanessa A. Black is the wife of Donald R. Black, Senior Pastor and Founder of New Life Christian Fellowship. She is devoted to the vision of the ministry and is a constant source of love and support to her husband. As the Assistant Pastor, she assists Bishop Black with a variety of duties to assure that his God-given mandate is carried out.
Pastor Vanessa is a woman of prayer and her greatest passion in ministry is to impart principles of Spirit-led prayer to the Body of Christ, which will develop an effective prayer life that will model and manifest God’s best in the earth realm. Pastor Vanessa is an ordained and licensed Pastor who has a love for God’s Word and desires to challenge the Body of Christ to rise up to their greatest potential through the practical application of God’s Word. She is the founder and director of “WISE (Walking in Spiritual Excellence) Women,” whereby she challenges women to develop a strong personal relationship with God so they can walk in victory in every area of their lives. Because of Pastor Vanessa’s continued stand of Faith, she has witnessed God’s miraculous power in her own life. In December of 1998, she was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). After several years of physically deteriorating with this debilitating disease (Lupus), she suffered diseases of her joints, skin, lungs, kidneys, and nervous system. Only because of her stand of Faith based on the authority of God’s Word and the prayers of the Righteous (Bishop Black and the New Life Family) healing manifested in her body and she was medically documented to have no sign of Lupus or any other autoimmune disease since March 2002! Pastor Vanessa is a devoted wife to Bishop Donald R. Black, a loving mother to Justin, Carissa, (Jesse - son in law), Chantay, and Jarel; and grandmother to Jordyn, Ariana, and Janae. Her relationship with her family is an example and blessing to the congregation of NLCF. |
